Looks more like Walsh than Lawless... who is between him & Miller? I don’t recognise him

To be fair, just had a glance at Hardie’s twitter - he is still showing himself as a Rangers player on loan at Livi.
Welsh is wearing number 18, Lee Miller's number, yeah I think you're reading too much into it.
The player next to Miller looks like Callum Crane.

Really don't know why they're so hyped up over Knox, he's shown absolutely no sign of living up to their expectations, he was out on loan to East Fife and dropped to the bench. Jack Hamilton who is 6 months younger than Knox has shown much better progress, both his loan spells last season got rave reviews from the teams he went to. Berwick Rangers even gave him an award for being their top goal scorer, he's like what Ryan Hardie was to us.
I'm interested to see how it all works out too, we had the chance to get 75K for him, from what I can see we'll be lucky to get half that now, hope we don't regret not selling him. I'd love for him to prove me wrong but I have my doubts about him being any better this season. He'll be 19 on December, he really needs to be showing us what all the fuss has been about and doing something for Livi on the pitch. I liked the look of his direct play running at players, but it was just a fleeting glimpse and he drifted out of Hoppy's plans, needs to show Miller he can cut it this season or just get what we can for him.
Personally i'm more excited over seeing Hamilton playing in the first team than Knox. Kyle Sampson could be another striker that can break into the first team, he's also done well when out on loan.

I'd be more interested in seeing Ogilvie than Sampson although to be honest the last time I think I saw them both in the same game was at Stenhousemuir. Sampson needed a bit more weight and a bit more nerve to take on players rather than to be knocked over at every occasion. That being said it was more than a year ago and both have managed a full year out on loan so who knows.

Re: Team for 2018-19
A year or more ago he'd have been 16, just turned 17, a lot can change since then.
Ogilvie too is just turning 19 next month, like Knox he seems to have been around ages and not come through for a regular place in the first team. Although when he played a couple of years back he did alright. Difficult position for him to break into just now as he is up against Jacobs, Pittman and Byrne, but he looked the kind of player that could come in and hold his own when needed, and they wont be here forever so i'd be happy for us to keep him around till then. Perhaps i'm being harsh on Knox when i'm giving Ogilvie time to break through, the hype surrounding him isn't doing him any favours.

It might be that the SPL would suit Knox better than the rough and tumble style played in the lower leagues. There is no doubt that the lad has ability. I'd give him a chance and it's up to him whether or not he takes it.

Re: Team for 2018-19
They say that Orco but Thistle were pretty rough and tumble playing us, esp in the first leg. I can remember Motherwell and St Johnstone kicking lumps out of us the seasons they were down the bottom end of the table too, and Accies aren't exactly shy about the physical side of their football. Look at Hibs in our CIS cup final as well, Fernandez used to get kicked about all over the place when we were in the SPL.
This agricultural tag follows us about into every game and opposition players are primed to get the boot into us to show us they can dish it out as well, ironically it isn't us that plays like that.

Assume he'll be getting a chance pre-season, I know Mackin came on as a sub against Queens Park on Friday night, imagine Knox will have at some point too.

Aye I noticed Mackin was waiting to get on in that pic from the Queen's Park game, unless we're allowing him to saunter about then I really can't see him fitting in with our work ethic. He is a decent goal scorer but just doesn't put the work in off the ball, chasing down balls to pressure opposition defenders, and make it a lot easier for our midfield to get the ball back. Always looks like he's going through the motions but doesn't actually get there to pressure players.

Then he could be a decent partner for KMiller’s headless chicken style; leaving LMiller & Hardie to be the other pairing.
It remains to be seen I suppose.

Hope he does well at Falkirk, didn't expect us to get a fee tbh. Didn't deserve the stick he got from our fans either so I'm sure he'll score against us if we draw them in a chip.

He may well do but I wouldn't be shitting myself seeing him come on against us, and i'm really pleased to see him gone.

Another goalie in, Ross Stewart from St Mirren. Hopefully see him get a game in one of our Betfred cup matches to see how good he is, and for him to challenge Liam Kelly for the number one spot.

I'd have preferred an experienced keeper. Hope he's no dodgy.

We got lucky with Alexander last season, doubt an experienced keeper of his calibre would want to come to us this season. Not for the wages we'll be offering anyway.

Re: Team for 2018-19
Over the years I've often seen former SPL keepers playing in lower league teams. Don't see why we couldn't have looked for one of those. It's an important position which we don't seem to prioritise. I mean - two seasons with Maley as back up! I rest my case.

Re: Team for 2018-19
Two seasons where we've won back to back promotions too, don't think we've done too badly with our recruitment in goals.
If Alexander was injured last season I think we'd have had to bring in an emergency loan, not got that option in the top tier though. Prob why we've brought in another keeper.

We got away with it due to lack of injuries. That's all.

Neither of us can say for sure as we'd have needed Alexander to have been injured. Fortunately we didn't have to find out.
