Aye... Steve Pittman, Scott’s dad. No reserves for the foreseeable so no reserve coaches required

Re: LFC Squad - 2020-21
Nearly wet myself when i saw this L/F ya bugger.Still good luck to them both in their respective futures. We bit quiet from the club at the moment although on the positive side got my S/T renewed last week so thats that sorted.Said a few weeks back that i thought a keeper was upmost in our priorities for the new season.Havent changed my mind. Hopefully Gary will get it sorted so as to eleiviate any fears some might have.Any way hope your all well and rarin to go i certainly am.T.

Any clarity on how the virtual ST works? What platform the games will be on? Will away games be available?
Agreed on the keeper situation.

Re: LFC Squad - 2020-21
Hi Bertie, bit long winded this but il tell you what is was told wen i renewd.Livis home games behind closed doors will be availiable to season ticket holders only.As for platform, the club will be screening the games themselves via the club internet. You will be sent a code to put into your computer, laptop, phone etc on the day, allowing you accsess to the live stream at kickoff. Its all new to them so might have to bare with it once its up and running. As for away games, this is still in limbo at the moment. Some fans ate asking for a pay per game scenario as those games as far as i know will only be avaliable to their season ticket holders only.Just have to whatch out for any developments on that score.Hopefully the club will give us some clarity on that neearer the time.As a sidestep,im going to ask if it would be possible to do a wee trial run before the first game so that people will know what to do on the day, maybe a wee 5 min showing the players training etc.Know it sounds daft but trust me ,i dont want to wait till 3pm and find out it doesnt work,id be raging.Anyway hope that kinda clears up what you were asking.PS i was told to keep an eye on the official website and social media for any updates pending.Stay safe my freind.T.

Re: LFC Squad - 2020-21
Thanks Troy, I emailed the club earlier in the week and the message was to watch club social media etc for updates but you have told me more with your reply than I got back from the club representative.

Dykes supposedly dyed his hair blue and told a neighbour he's signed for der huns. He'll be a fearsome partner for Morelos if it's true, just hope we held out for the 2M price tag we put on him, and didn't sell him on the cheap. Going to be even worse having to play them this season if Dykes is in their team too, just hope he doesn't end up being another wasted talent signing for an arse cheek.

Re: LFC Squad - 2020-21
Saw that a few seconds after I posted, on a Livi news feed.
Def away to Sevco then, when Holts denying it.
Can't see him still being at Livi when the season kicks off, just hope it isn't to a Scottish team, particularly Sevco. Expect Nisbet will be away from the Pars too, but he'll be out of our price range, we wont fork out close to a million for him.

That’s me & my youngest renewed now too....and who knows, with the announcement of potentially limited attendances being allowed sooner rather than later just maybe we’ll get to see the games in the flesh... we wait & see.

Re: LFC Squad - 2020-21
Well done Bertie.Im taking this announcement with a pinch of salt. The general concensus from what ive seen thus far is that it will be late September that there may be a chance that some may be allowed back into stadiums under strict safety rules of course. How this will pan out is anybodys guess mind you.On a side note im getting severiouly brassed off with all this Dykes talk. Ijust hope that if he stays he gives the same desire and commitment that he seems to be giving to Sevco on the offchance he ends up there. All hearsay of course and i sincerely hope that gary has it in the back of his mind the possible eventually of not only Lyndon but other positions we are maybe gonna have to address here.Any way football fix for this afternoon gonna whatch the second leg playoff against Dun Utd then the Man Utd cup tie afaterwards.Sorted with the obligatery few beers.Stay safe everyone.T.

That's us renewed as well now. Actually expected a queue at the stadium but it was in and out.

Queens Park’s Salim Kouider-Aissa on a weeks trial with a view to replace Dykes if he goes.

Re: LFC Squad - 2020-21
Looks like 2 good signings, we were needing a striker signed, hopefully Dykes is still here when we ko and Poplatnik can get a few goals playing off him, gives us decent options up front anyway, which we didn't have last season.
Fittzwater played alongside Devlin and Guthrie at Walsall, so they'd have been able to tell Holt and Martindale all about him, if he's anywhere near as good a signing as those two i'll be well chuffed.

Re: LFC Squad - 2020-21
Hopefully he improves like Kelly did in his 2nd spell, wonder if we'll get another keeper in for competition, or stick with Stewart, who'll have to come in when we play Sevco.

Bit of a pain not getting to see the new signings interviews, unless you pay a £59.99 subscription to the LFC LIVE TV channel.

Guess that answers that question then, Rohan Ferguson is on trial with us, that'll give McCrorie competition for his place if we sign him then.

Re: LFC Squad - 2020-21
Don’t know Ferguson but if his first name is Rohan his parents must be LotR fans.
McCrorie was apparently a star at QotS & is rated by some Huns I know... I’m with you so far though.
I think Stewart going out on loan & 2 loan keepers being brought in instead last season tells you his stay with us is coming to an end... there’s always Gary Maley...

Also a bit of a disappointment that it isn’t included with the ST.
£60 for a year isn’t bad I suppose but when you’re used to the content being available free it’s a bummer

Re: LFC Squad - 2020-21
New season - new captain... officially now after effectively being captain most of last season it’s the Bartman - our very own Captain Marv(el) Bartley
And new season - new kit.... still to be announced but if it’s the image leaked on Facebook then I’m underwhelmed.

It's pretty yellow; no hint of amber at all as far as I can see.
Other than that it's pretty similar to last years kit - will changing the Spaghettihad to Key Workers entice people to shell out for the new kit?

Re: LFC Squad - 2020-21
The Facebook shirt looks like a reverse of last season with the sleeves darker than the body & it looks terrible
