Heard the Burke rumour a couple of days ago.Im not so sure.He might have one more season left in him but I reckon he'll drop down the ladder to finish his career. Who knows. .

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
Swapped Tiffoney for Penrice, both clubs happy with the deal.
Great wee player when he was on loan with us, but has stagnated a bit at Partick, with managers coming and going, plus a double relegation, then promotion. Hoping he's going to be like Sibbs was coming here from Falkirk, where he had also been stagnating, and Penrice will thrive in the Premiership with Livi.

Shame to see Tiffs go but good to have Penners back where he belongs.Showed a lot of promise last time he was here.Up to Davie to get that belief back into him.And he's still young enough to regain it..

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
I really liked Penrice when he was here; but Tiffs going leaves us in the perennial close season conundrum of wondering who we will have up front.... and before someone says Hammy.... we need more.
Of course I forgot about Anderson & Reilly & the other- so far - ‘bit part’ signings
Well... Anderson will have to hit the ground running & Reilly needs to show massive improvement on last season’s cameos.

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
Up till now Tiffoney hadn't shown any form as a goal scorer, so we're really no worse off without him. He may have improved after his loan to Partick, but then we're hoping Hammy will have too, and that Anderson will turn out decent.
Basically it's no different than last season, Dykes wasn't even scoring many before he was sold, and Robbo ended up being our front man, till he went in a huff.
Pittman scored 6 league goals, but i always feel he should be getting more, he can get in great positions to score, but misses a lot, and then sometimes stops making those runs and goes missing for spells. He's def capable of scoring over 10 league goals a season, just wish he'd have a season where he bangs in a barrow load.

Dykes wasn’t prolific anyway but had so much more to his game; which helped other guys to chip in with their share.

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
Another signing, Tom Parkes, 29yo, 6ft 3 CB that played for Exeter, could be a good replacement for Guthrie.
Lots of experience in L2, and still a decent age too, already looking forward to seeing us play this coming season. The team dropped right off after the split and an injection of new signings is just what we needed to freshen things up.

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
Looks like a quality signing although notice something in the press about them releasing him cause he was unfit after lockdown. Sure Davy will get the best out of him.
Team coming together now, could do with another CB and also a GK to challenge Max (Kelly or
Sarkic available)?!
…………………….…….TBC
DEVLIN……..PARKES…….TBC…….LEWIS
………………......OBILEYE….
.......................TBC
MULLIN.…………..PITTS…………SIBBS/ MONTANO
…………………...ANDERSON

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
Think Parkes will be on the left (he's a left footed CB) with Fitzwater on the right, Max in goal, and Penrice further up as left mid, swapping him and Montano.
Still hoping we can get Diani signed up, and he will replace Holt, Diani & Obileye would be upgrades on Marv & Holt.

Young Norwich keeper Daniel Barden incoming.
Competition for Stryjek, can't be any worse than Robby McCrorie anyway.

Yeah, definitely one that got away IMO… was scoring fairly regularly for a poor Accies side & impressed me when I saw him against us.

Got a feeling our next couple of signings are going to be crucial to us.Recruitment so far looks promising.Just need to try and add that wee bit quality to help us prove the doubters wrong, again.Baited breath once again.

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
First loan signing from one of the top 6 EPL clubs Davie talked about, Adam Lewis from Liverpool.
Plays down the left side, so we'll have Longridge, Penrice, Montana, Forrest, Kabia, and Lewis fighting for a couple of places, bet Devlin and Mullin are thinking thank feck they play on the right hand side.
Reading a lot of promising stuff about Lewis, proof will be in the pudding though, when we see what he can do on the pitch. Still got 2 or 3 more signings to come too, an exciting season awaits us.

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
Yeh,young lad looks decent. As you say weve an abundance of left sided players and aye competition should be healthy. Not getting carried away but its beginning to look promising for next season.Hopefully a goalie and a striker incoming would be the icing on the cake.Cant wait. Euros will have to suffice for the moment.Ive got £20 on the Italions at 11/1 just as an interest..

Thought we had got a goalie already, but looking on the website it isn't official yet, Norwich keeper Dan Barden. https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/livingston-chase-dan-barden-on-loan-8026968

Good listen, Martindale being interviewed by a Livi fan, covers a wide range of subjects, giving an insight on how the club is run.

Meant to be signing Ben Williamson on loan from Sevco, young midfielder who played alongside Hamilton at Arbroath last season, and got awarded their YPoTY. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2021/06/17/report-premiership-rivals-set-to-seal-loan-deal-for-rangers-midfielder/

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
All quiet on the Livi front, as the players are away to Spain doing their pre season training camp.
Still expecting another 2 or 3 signings before the season starts, new strip should be coming soon too, maybe things will pick up again next week.
Only 2 weeks to our Premier Sports cup game with Brechin on the 10th of July, doesn't time fly....................................when you are getting old.
