Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
Know the feeling L/F.Glad the squad managed to get away for some sunshine.Hopefully the new players will start to blend in.Understandbly will take time but I'm sure Davie will have them ready.Yeh expecting another couple of signings.Weve done good business so far and with more coming in im optimistic we can compete at our level.Ive resigned myself to watching the first few games on TV via the virtual season ticket, although hopefully we'll get news of our return to the stadium sooner or later. Like you, can't wait to get back. .

Read on P&B forum we were playing some in Malaga, haven't seen anything on the Livi website though, not even anything about us being away in a training camp. Not very good info coming from the club this pre season. Not heard a sausage since our last signing.

Yeah played a team from Gibraltar - won 3:0, wasn’t pretty.

Cheers.
The Lincoln Red Imps, the team that beat Celtic a few seasons ago.
Just seen a vid posted on the Livi fans FB page, we also beat Europa FC 2-0 yesterday.
Looks like Bruce Anderson scoring both our goals.

Well you can count out Mumbongo as he's just signed for Accrington Stanley. .

Awww, wanted him to sign for us so we could sing this song, way down deep in the middle of the Congo, Livi signed a striker and we called him Mumbongo.

Couple of boys at the club confirmed.. 2 SPL clubs wanted him on loan but apparently Davie wasn’t having it. Its a shame if he has gone - liked and rated him - just unfortunately our style of football does not bring the best out of him.

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
That's Daniel Barden on loan for the season - https://livingstonfc.co.uk/daniel-barden-swaps-the-canaries-for-the-lions/?fbclid=IwAR2cbB7RJRYALqsdGDI-INZQT21YhTWkdmd-zJGJz5y7bT-T_xn1wWzQT00#
With Schwake off on loan I'd expect Barden & Max to fight it out for No 1 with Maley signing a new player/ coach deal to provide backup.
Hopefully a season on loan will improve Poplatnik - Clearly got the talent but just struggling to adapt to our game.
I'd be surprised if Kouder-Aissa doesn't head off on loan as well, so would think we'll be in the market for another striker (and a CB).

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
Better late than never, Barden signing was rumoured weeks ago.
Must be looking for another striker, when Mumbongo was on trial, have Hamilton and Anderson though, should at least see how both get on in the Premiersports cup games.
SAL just doesn't look fit/good enough at this level, would be as well moving him on.
Hopefully Poplatnik will score goals at Raith and come back to us in January in good scoring form. It's never a season loan with these deals, the parent club always reviews how their player is doing in Jan, Hardie and McCrorie both went back to Sevco before they decided to let them stay at Livi.
Oh and we've also got Gavin Reilly up front, not heard anything about how his recovery from injury is going, and if he'll be fit for the start of the season.

Cheers i got to break it to the Raith fans on P&B before it was officially announced.
I reckon this will be good for both parties, well all 3 really, Poplatnik needs a run of games to get into his stride, and then Raith will see the best from him. It looked like he was just finding form with us last season when he got injured against Utd, then didn't get back into the starting line up enough to regain that form. Does well at Raith and hopefully be back with us in Jan, in good form to help us push for another top 6 place.

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
Team certainly taking shape now and good to see a 3-0 win today, still a wee bit thin on the ground though.
In terms of the players who weren't involved today...
Devlin - Wasn't with the squad in Spain and not involved today, injured or is he on the way out?
Bartley - Looks like he'll be be involved much less from a playing side now he's AM. Makes sense.
Keags - Wonder what the latest is on his injury and if he'll play again for us. Shame if he doesn't.
Kouider-Aissa - Be surprised if he isn't on the way out, even if on loan.
Reilly - Presume still injured but hopefully back for the start of the league campaign.
Hamilton
Montano
Sibbs

Far too early to make assumptions. Hopefully in the coming weeks Davie will have an idea of his best starting 11.And maybe another couple of signings to bolster the squad.

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
Ben Williamson on a season loan from Sevco, looking forward to seeing what he can do, got Arbroath's YPoTY ahead of Jack Hamilton last season, so must've been good, considering the amount of goals Jack scored for them.

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
New signings Joel Nouble looks an exciting player, 6ft 4 striker, going straight out on loan to Arbroath, prob recall him in Jan to kick on and push us on for another top 6 spot. Looks a quicker version of JET, big laddie that is good with both feet and just bodies players out of the way.
Good relationship with Arbroath going, giving them our players to sharpen up/develop, before coming back to us. Will be following him at Arbroath and looking forward to seeing him playing for Livi in January.

Re: LFC Squad - 2021-22
Confirmed now, the OS announcing Shinnie on a 2 year deal.
Upgrade on Robinson the level he's played at, and wealth of experience he has, great signing imo.
A CB is our next target, hopefully with the same level of quality and experience as Shinnie, a quality CB could make or break our season.
