I saw that tweet too, he also mentions Hopkin was looking to bring one or two in if he gets wages freed up by putting players out on loan, not sure if that's meaning Gallagher and Millar or that we're still going to sign more players. Only area we really need a player signed now is RB but if he's playing Crighton there and by all accounts he did well (getting in the SPFL team of the week too) then it isn't a necessity. And he's playing Lithgow at LB when we've actually got a natural LB being left out.

So it has, hope it isn't because we jumped the gun and Sevco aren't letting him stay now. We'll soon see when we play Rovers on Sat, if Maley is in goals.

Confirmed that Neill is on loan to Stranraer.

Mullen extends his contract to the end of next season.

Makes sense to get Neill some game time and with Stranraer currently struggling he might get a lot of practice.

Good that Mullen has extended his deal but only why a single year? I think Hoppy is bigging him up a wee bit too much by saying that on his day he is unplayable. Maybe at 3rd tier level but he still has to prove himself consistently at 2nd tier level.

I think the one year extension is sensible, I like Mullen and have been wanting him to do well for us in the Championship, but so far he hasn't fulfilled his potential playing at that level.
He's doing really well this season and hopefully the drop down to this league will be the making of him.

He should go on to do well in the Championship next season too but I think the 1 year deal gives the club a chance to see how he does at that level before making him a longer contract offer.
