Think the old blood pressure is just about back to normal after that pulsating last few minutes.

Have to give credit to Hopkin, he got his tactics absolutely spot on today. Not overly pretty to watch at times but stifling the Falkirk threat paid off big time.

The whole team deserve credit today for the way they dug in. However the much maligned Jordan White for me had one of his best games for Livi.

Played in a sort of defensive midfield role, he won most of his arial battles but his footwork today was brilliant. I think that's what frustrates the fans at time with Jordan, he is capable as today proved, he just needs to be more consistent in this type of performance.

Also a word for Darren Cole, looked a bit nervous today in the early stages probably because of what happened last week and probably not helped by the comments of some of our fans as soon as he touched ball. However fair play to him he played his full part in today's victory.

If we beat Alloa next week that's them relegated. So hopefully we can achieve that then set our sights on catching Dumbarton. Gonna be a few nails bitten this next month.

Must admit i have to hold my hands up after that result, never saw it coming.Isaid yesterday that in my opinion damage limitation would have to be the order of the day for this game and that i would have gladly settled for a point.Have to say a massive thanks to the lads for not only proving myself but many others wrong with our thoughts pre match.Correct me if im wrong but i seem to recall it was around this time last season we got a win against Falkirk that set us on our mini run that ultimatly kept us in the Championship.I feel a sense of De ja vou here. That mountain i spoke about yesterday is shrinking to a mole hill as we speak.Aint gonna be easy but youve given yoursrlves one helluva chance to get us out of this mess once again.Cant wait for next week.WELLdone boys!!!!!

The game yesterday was a bit of a borefest yesterday until it sprang into life in the last five minutes, but boy was that worth waiting for. Ecstacy to despair in the space of three minutes then ecstacy returning. I've never seen the end of a game like it.
The team did the job they set out to do. I will give special mention to Pittman who gave 110%.

I am hoping that I have read somewhere that the practice of giving a penalty + sending a player off is to be reviewed. Sending Longridge off in the final minute of the game was OTT in my opinion. Being behind the goal at the other end of the park I couldn't see clearly what happened but it didn't look like stopping a goal scoring opportunity any more that Cole's foul last week. Surely a yellow card plus a penalty is sufficient.

Falkirk fan on P&B said it was a dive. His first booking was a bit of a joke as well, should only really get booked for that if you're kicking the ball across the park, not just bouncing it. Then again I know we would all be shouting for a booking if it was a Falkirk player. One of those things.

Was he booked for bouncing the ball off the pitch after a foul was given? Remember Hippo being booked for a wee kick of the ball after a foul then a St Mirren player launched the ball halfway down the side of the pitch in a temper and got no reprimand at all. Refs have no consistency at all, that's what gets on fans nerves more than just stupid bookings, the fact they aren't consistent with their stupid decisions.

That was the only thing to take the shine off our result, Longridge was a big miss against St Mirren, he's really come on since the start of the season and has made the LB position his own. We'll miss him against Alloa next week.

If it was denying a goal scoring opportunity then it would be a straight red and appealable wouldn't it??

But if it was a second yellow then no appeal.

Just watched the highlights, ooft that Falkirk goal was headed straight at McCallum and looked like he fluffed it into his net. Made up for it with his penalty save though so no harm done. Tell you what as well, White got fouled in the box a hell of a lot more last week against St Mirren than Miller for that penalty.

Two good looking goals by Livi, nice ball through by Buchanan for White to flick on for his goal and Stanton's was well taken after him dancing past a few players.

That was a pure dive from Miller. However the ref was never going to book a second Falkirk player for simulation and Longridge paid the price.

Fair play to McCallum for saving the penalty but the Falkirk goal was a real blunder. He also seems to allow an awful lot of shots to bounce off him before he then scrambles to catch them. We've lost at least a couple of goals this season from those.

Have to say it looks like a pen to me; tug on the shirt at least. Agree that White was fouled worse against Saints but that doesn't stop this one being a pen. Also have to say it was a peach of a ball from Hippo to set it up.

Looks like McCallum may have been put off by defender trying to get his head on the ball but he still should have save that; bet he was determined to make up for it & the pen save did just that.

Biggest concern for me was the near collapse in injury time; rank poor game management to go 2 up in the 90th minute & almost get pulled back to a draw...but they held on.

Both our goals were very well worked.

Nice highlights, the music and drums being played gets on your wick though.

See what Bertie was saying about their goal, White comes across trying to head it and distracted McCallum, still looks an awful goal to lose. Also get a better view of our goals, they look even better in the LIVItv footage.

White starts the move off for his goal too, played it out of defence and then ran all the way up the pitch to get on the end of Buchanan's cross. Buchanan was waiting for him as well, kept looking across before he put it on a plate for the big fella, lovely goal. Those two could have some partnership if they keep this up.

Two cracking goals but agree with LF , that was some first goal, White intercepted the Falkirk players pass on his own 18 yard line started the move and passed to Sheerin who played a nice ball out to Buchanan who did really well running with the ball beating a defender constantly looking for White who was sprinting the length of the pitch , Buchanans pass was perfect and Whites finish was excellent. What a fantastic display by players playing for each other, what a difference when they don't think they have to do it all themselves and play as a team. 3 players involved in the goal 3 passes and from our own 18 yard line , probably contender for team goal of season certainly in a counter attacking sense.

Second goal good teamwork again one pass from Fotheringham ,who intercepted a Falkirk pass ,neatly to Stanton who beats a couple of men and an excellent finish.

    Well done boys

Also well done Livi TV for capturing it.

Yeah McCallum and White have a wee tiff about it after the goal. Don't think it is anyone's fault, White tries to get his head on the ball to stop it going towards our goal, unfortunately he missed and McCallum doesn't see the ball till it hits his hands and has little time to react, then desperately tries to grab it and fumbles at the ball as it goes into the net.

Looked a shocking fumble by McCallum but after you pointed out the distraction by our player in front of McCallum and you look at it more closely it wasn't so straight forward as a plain bad bit of goal keeping.
