Yeh,I've noticed Bertie. But geographics and a substantial increase in his salery made it unsustainable for us to keep him.He wanted to be closer to his family. But was a super player for us.

Yeah, seemed a decent guy with his banter with the Bartman as well.

Ex Livingston winger Tommy Wright banned by the football association after bribery charges. Don't remember him, but I'm sure we'll look to recruit him to our bad lads army once his ban is lifted.

Liam Watt signs for East Kilbride.
I always felt he didn't get a fair chance at Livi. A limited player but felt he could have done well in League One for us.

Myles Hippolyte signs for Stockport County. Surely this must be the beginning of his decline to amateur football where he belongs. Infuriating footballer.

May have been infuriating but he was outstanding in the Petrofac Final and against Hearts in an earlier round

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Griffiths joining Falkirk in League One, looks like they're going for the last play off spot that QP currently hold, then maybe even have a strong enough team to win promotion through the play offs. He's got far greater ability than anyone in that division, whether he has the right attitude for applying it is another matter. Got to wonder what Falkirk's wage bill is when they'll be making big losses staying FT in that league. Looks a desperate attempt and big financial gamble for them.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Slightly Livi related.Cant get my head round how poor Falkirk have been recently .Looks like their going to have to settle for midtable mediocrity. Even with Griffiths Jacobs and Kabia.Surely at this level they should stroll this.Obviously not.Worrying times in Grangemouth.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Gutted for them.
Same with Dunfermline, full of ex Livi players, Neil Alexander, Coll Donaldsom, Efe Ambrose, Steven Lawless, big Toddy, also signed ex Motherwell player, Liam Polworth, and still bottom of the Championship, managed by Hughes too, real shame.

Not to overly concerned about Keoghan, but Jaze will be back at the end of the season.Just hope this hasn't deflated him. With the majority of that Falkirk team seemingly not giving a toss and going through the motions of another season down there im hoping it will toughen him up when he returns to us.But no sympathy for Billy big baws Grangemouth.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Just shows the job Martindale is doing at Livi, where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Takes more than just having good players to make a good team.
Falkirk and Dunfermline just haven't got managers good enough to get the players performing as a unit.
Yeah with Forrest looking likely to leave i think Kabia could be a good replacement, needs Davie to put in the coaching hours to get him ready though. Certainly has the ability, if he applies is properly.

Yeh,agree L/F.Just a shame he's gone to a team so lacking in confidence. Their arguably a bigger team than us historically. Hope Davie gets him back under our wing.Theres a player in there no doubt. But in the right surroundings. .

Matthew Knox signs for Musselburgh. How the (potentially) mighty have fallen.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Where has he been since leaving us? Middlesbrough are not a bad side to be connected with at the moment, they are challenging for promotion to the EPL. If he has signed for them he must be doing something right.

Big mistake by us not selling him to Sevco, unless that story/rumour was made up shite by his dad to his DR pal too.
Speaking of potential young Livi talents, always thought Dylan Easton had the makings of a good player, but ended up signing for St Johnstone, only to be loaned out to various lower league clubs, and ending up a lower league One & Two journeyman.

Agree on Dylan Easton, but I remember at the time hearing that he just stopped turning up for training. Not much you can do in that case

Aye maybe needed someone as dedicated as the guy that used to pick Snoddy up in Glasgow and get him to training in Livingston, Snoddy may have ended up the same way but for him. Not that i'm saying Easton would've been as good as Snodgrass, but looked a talented player.
