Mark Fotheringham appointed head coach of Huddersfield. Fair play to him, he's been all over the place coaching and earning his stripes. I'll be looking out for the Terriers results this season.

Not so sure, they're a basket case of a club for sacking managers, and their fans expectations are stuck from the 80's, thinking they should be playing silky football and blowing teams away. The second they hit a poor spell* his jaiket will be on a shoogley peg.
Fozzy was excellent at free kicks, iirc he scored a cracker against Falkirk in 2nd half a fight back from being 3-0 down at HT, unfortunately we still lost 4-3 to a sucker punch breakaway goal. Yeah he's had an interesting career going to a fair amount of teams in other countries expanding his experience.
Good luck to them both.
*aye i know they're already in a sticky position, but it was Ross that put them there. Liam has had a decent start as caretaker boss, he'll need to get them a good bit up the table into the top 6 for their fans to be happy, even then they want silky football too.

Seeing Snoddy and Halliday in the same team reminds me many years ago up at Stirling Albion when they ran riot in front of us.How times gave have changed.Jambos getting absolutely pumped at the moment from their big brothers. No change there then..

Really no excuse for what he did, what is it about footballers going to parties and thinking they can do stuff like this.

Decent signings for Raith, Josh Mullin and Jack Hamilton. Two players with experience of doing well in the Championship, both will score goals for them.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Dundee signing Scott Tiffoney. Always buzzed about and made a nuisance of himself (bit like Danny Mullen) but looked a bit lightweight for the Premiership defenders, like Mullen goes down easily.
Wonder if Lawless and McMillan will be snapped up by Premiership teams, would have either back at Livi, with Devlin leaving McMillan would be a good replacement, solid defender and looks like he's added a decent attacking WB to his skills, which he lacked when at Livi.

Ross Docherty signed for Dundee Utd. They've really gone to feck this past while, pretty poor signing, wasn't even that great when he played for us, always a favourite for a card with some rash tackles, and hasn't improved much from what i saw in the play offs.
Jackson Longridge away to Accies. Didn't look up to Premiership standards, but should do ok in the Championship.

Kabia training with Cork, bit disappointed he didn't work out with us, had flashes of Alan Forrest about him, but didn't fair any better on loan in League One, so obv something just wasn't there for him to make the grade.

I'm guessing application and attitude. I think Davie is big on these.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Scott Robinson signed for Partick Thistle. Was a cracking player for Livi, had his best season with us before going to Killie, and hasn't hit that height again, but has also been plagued by injuries.

Yeh,didn't feature much for Killie last season due mostly to injury. He was a decent player for us back then.So many of that team have moved on.

Big Dec signed for Dundee Utd.
He's getting around, what's that now, Dundee, Livi, HMP XI, Livi again, Motherwell, Aberdeen, St Mirren, and now Dundee Utd.

He started at Celtic but didn’t make a first team appearance, played for Stranraer on loan and then Clyde before going to Dundee.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Marc McNulty signed for Spartans as a free agent, might've been worth getting him in for our run in, at the worst he'd have been an energetic sub to bring on, only 31 and was playing in the US, so should still be pretty fit.
Will be interesting to see how he gets on at Spartans, might even be worth a punt for next season, if we're going to lose Anderson to Killie.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
If Anderson is thinking of going to Killie after the lack of game time he got at Aberdeen under McInnes then he lacks ambition… but the lack of game time he’s getting with us is just as bad and I can understand him wanting to leave.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Supposedly signed an PCA with them Nick, though we all know that isn't worth the paper it's written on (if it is even paper, might be digital now).
Think McInnes will have seen an improvement in Anderson since he was at Aberdeen though, or why would he be wanting to sign him. If used properly he'll score goals for them, the way Killie play will suit him more, with wingers supplying balls into the box for their strikers.
They're looking good for a 4th place finish too, and playing in a European comp.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Yeah, McInnes has proven he can manage with his turnaround of Killie, bounced them back up and stayed up comfortably enough and now kicking on to top 6. He was decent at Aberdeen but I think his Killie tenure shows him as probably the top native Scot managing up here. If I was Hearts I’d be thinking about him as the top candidate to replace Naismith if/when the time comes.
And you’re right, Killie’s style of play would suit Anderson more.

Brucie scoring a hattrick in Killies first pre season game, in their 5-0 win over TNS.
