Carrick scoring again for Airdrie, unfortunately they also lost again. Maybe that's his level playing in League One, or maybe he just needed a regular start and a run of games. Hopefully he stays injury free and gets a chance to keep playing.

Sparky McNulty going for a goal scoring record at Coventry, looks like he'd like to come back to Scotland and play in the SPFL Premiership too. He can come back and play for Livi anytime. Laughing

We can but dream, he'd never afford the pay cut.

Maybe if we did the impossible and got promotion he could be persuaded to join us for a season and put himself in the shop window for bigger clubs to come in for him up here, would be worth a punt as a sales pitch anyway. He obv has it in his mind going by that article. Coming back up here that is, not joining Livi. lol!

McNulty starring for Coventry in their 2nd leg against Notts Co; scored the second & is being a real pest for the County defence... and as I say that County pull 1 back.

He got booked as well for a spot of handbags when a County player overreacted to a slight push. Also assisted on the 3rd Cov goal & provided a decoy run for the 4th as they ran out 4-1 winners on the night. Now he gets to play at Wembley.

Great to see so many congratulatory notes from ex players - the obvious ones like McNulty and Kyle Jacobs; but also Devon Jacobs; Toddy; Bobby Barr; DJ and Oscar Rubio.

Cant see anything from Craig Barr or Paul Watson though; wonder why?

Snoddy being linked with a move to Celtic next season. So we could be playing against Dorrans and Halliday at Sevco, Griffiths and Snoddy at Celtic, and also Scougall and Davidson at St Johnstone. A right load of fun we're going to have playing against our most talented ex players, just needs McNulty to join the SPFL Premiership now. And here we were fretting about Beany playing against us last season. Laughing

At least Alexander will be in goals trying to keep them all from scoring.

If Snoddy gets promoted with Villa he might fancy another crack at the premiership with arguably the biggest club he’s played for so far. Boyhood Celt tho so that might sway him. However, I’m not convinced he’s a Brendan Rodgers type of player.

McNulty was absolutely excellent for Coventry today.

    Prick Wink

Commentators were raving about him as well, still another year left on his contract but wouldn't be too surprised to see a Championship/top League 1 side interested. Or an Aberdeen/Hibs type side up here.

Josh Mullin off to Ross County according to their twitter - and apparently his too although I haven’t seen it myself.

I listened to these two interviews with Bobby. The parts about Livi give his take on John Hughes when he was manager here and at Raith. Interesting. Laughing

He's spot on about Bollan being punted because Nixon wanted rid of him and it had nothing to do with him not giving youth a chance, that was a load of bollox. He mentioned the exact same as the fans on here too, Sparky and Scougall were both playing under Bollan and none of the others were good enough to be getting games.

Pretty much confirmed what most of us think about Hughes too, thinks the world revolves around him and is a big arsehole. Knew he'd have been gutted when he heard Hughes had signed up as his manager at Raith. lol!

That whole episode was almost farcical. It left me with a healthy scepticism of club football boards in general as well as a dislike of John Hughes. As my old Dad would have said - he can manage nane!

Actually weren't at least two of the Jacobs brothers also getting a game plus at least two others that I can think of
