The same one after the Jan transfer window by the looks of it down in Blackpool. I'm more concerned about us keeping Dykes after this transfer window, and Lawless too, he's starting to attract attention in the media with his goals and assists this season.

I'm reading that Ryan Hardie has gone on loan from Blackpool to Plymouth.

Well that's almost certainly the end of any chance he had of a full Scotland call up in the future.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
All a far cry from his new Hun contract last January before coming back to us to waste a shirt.

Yes; of course the previous year he got injured before the playoffs and enfed up with his foot in a plaster boot so maybe he was sh1t scared of getting injured and upsetting Saint Slippy.
The thing is we all know he has it in him to be a top performer; he had the opportunity to really kick on with Blackpool and get his career back on track but evidently didn't care enough after being released by sevco.
All this being said I would have loved to see him and Dykes playing in the same team; I feel they could have really fed off each other but that#'s not going to happen.

Yep Hardie was as clinical as feck when in sight of goal, his best sustained period with us was playing off big Lee Miller when he first joined us. Him and Dykes could've made a fantastic pairing.

Wee Knoxy released from his contract early at Brechin, all that hype and expectation too.

Things are going well for Liam Kelly at QPR, seems to have established himself as their No1 keeper, 2 clean sheets in his last 6 games for them, incl a penalty save to get a 1-0 win over Leeds.

Cracking save it was too but I knew he’d save it when Bamford was taking it.
Never understood the hype for Knox, always looked a bit light to me & out of place on a pitch with grown men. Snoddy, Griffiths & co all looked like they could stand up to robust challenges, Knox looked like a breath would blow him away.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Yeah with all the hype surrounding him, I thought he must have something that he's showing in training that i'm not seeing. But I think it was his dad who had a friend in the DR printing the hype, and in reality he was just not that good.
I read something on twitter about Cadden doing well at Morton, and this guy thinking he should be playing at the Premiership for somebody. Cadds was so frustrating at Livi, just seemed to have something missing when we got promoted, couldn't get past his man most of the time, and would shirk away from challenges.
What really bugged me about him was he'd never learn and just kept doing the same thing, he'd turn with the ball, try to beat his man, the guy would stick his foot out and win the ball from him. Just once, would he flick it up past the marker on the turn and run onto it, but nope. When a marker is coming in tight to you giving you no time on the ball to turn with it, lift it up in the air past him on the turn and run past him without the ball at your feet, and take him by surprise, really did my heid in watching him repeatedly being beaten so easily.

Nicky Cadden has scored eight and assisted 10 in in 25 appearances this season. Prolific from the wing and a widely recognised as an important cog in the Morton team. Surely a shout for some teams in the Premier League?

Cadden on song was pretty good but one hard challenge & he disappeared. He got hurt one game because he hesitated in a 50/50 situation.

Jordan White will be playing for Motherwell next season, they're turning into our B team. Will be interesting to see how he does playing against Premiership defenders, was certainly a handful in the Championship.

He was more of a presence for us than a goal machine, not sure how well (no pun honest) he’s done at Caley

Re: The ex-Lions thread
One thing that annoyed me when he played for us was that he kept tracking back to defend but didnt have the pace to get up to the other end if we managed to break away.

A few ex Livi players made changes pre season, Cadden is now at Forrest Green Rovers, Lawless at Burton Albion, and Erskine has signed for East Kilbride.

Ryan Hardie back on loan to Plymouth Argyle.
Seems to always be put out on loan. Sevco signed him and loaned him out to, Raith, St Mirren, Raith again, then Livi. Then signed by Blackpool, played 7 games for them scoring one goal then put out on loan twice to Plymouth Argyle.

Danny Mullen signs a two year deal with Dundee. Probably about his level TBH; the Premiership seemed to be a step too far.

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Jack Ross convinced McPake to sign Mullen, think he's been had if this is the info he's been given.
The type of bully that falls down a lot, runs up to folk and drops to the ground like a sack of spuds to bully them.
Would say he's a nuisance, but bully, a Lyndon Dykes he aint.
“He brings a lot more than just goals as a striker, he can take the ball in and for his size he holds the ball up and he is a bit of a bully at times. Danny is what we have been missing and that’s why I was so desperate to get him since January.”

Re: The ex-Lions thread
Dykesy boy scored a goal for his new club in a friendly against AFC Wimbledon. Watched a video of the goals and I think it was him with the first assist too. Also set up one on a plate but the boy took too long and the keeper dived at his feet and smothered his shot.
