Apparently he is Ibra Sekejja; an ex Crystal Palace player with a under 16 England international cap I think; was also called up to play for Uganda.

Appeared for twenty minutes in the recent abandoned U20 game with Alloa; he scored I understand. It also appears that he was incorrectly identified as UgWu.

Would have thought he was too expensive for us though.

The article in the Express said that Ross County had him on trial but did not offer him a deal.

I'll judge him if he gets a game, but his time at Alloa was a total waste. I can only really remember him getting hauled down by Mensing one game resulting in the latter getting sent off, so that doesn't fill me with too much hope. If he screws the head, and that's one big fucking if, he would be a cracking player to have at this level. Going by his past endeavours though, I seriously doubt it.

The only bonus I can think of for Riordan signing is that he's been offering to play for free.

But considering Brechin turned down that offer, I can't see him being too good...

How good would he have to be to stick the ball in the net in the last 15 mins when he comes on as a sub, must still have an eye for a goal in him. Heard Jason Scotland was also meant to be on trial, may just have been a wind up though.

Apparently he pied Brechin as they couldn't come to a reasonable contract offer.

One can but hope then. Best news would be no further points deductions and Rankine giving up his shares so we have no further trouble from the footballing authorities, some hope of that happening.

All we can do is try and win as many points as pos then see where it leaves us.

According to the Scotsman Riordan is a month away from match fitness and there are no plans to sign him, Burchill is just doing him a favour by allowing him to train here.

Jason Scotland is one of 4 or 5 players Burchill is looking at.

Saw Sekajja play last night for the U-20's in the game against Stenhousmuir which we won 2-1, he scored the first goal. He was quite involved in the first half but faded away in the second. He looks a threat when he's got the ball but was making a few too many bad choices when it came to passing it to his team mates.

Darren Moffat and Jack Cook were really impressive in defence. Sives, Rutherford, Praprotnik and Beumont all played too.

Appears we are still looking for new blood.

A midfielder? Well that would be a surprise.

Not sure the club should keep us in the loop about enquiries though; could run the risk of a bidding war or something akin to the Elliott case.

Yeah, you are probably right, but it does get frustrating when you hear any news from other sources first.
