Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
It's all you can do EL, hopefully we do well this season so everything else works out ok. As long as we're winning and doing well fans tend to be forgiving on other matters, it's when we're doing shite on the pitch too it gets voiced on the terraces.
Reading a couple over on the Lions' Den that aint very pleased about the morality of signing Dec and going to voice their disapproval on Sat, hopefully they'll give it up when he gets support from fans just wanting to go to games and enjoy seeing us winning and playing well.

I don't read the Lions Den very often at all but when I do it's full of nonsense like this. Since when did Livingston fans turn against their own? Hopefully these idiots are drowned out and we can all get on with supporting the team.

I think enough football fans in Scotland hate Livi without Livi fans turning on their own team.

EL, I think it's time for you to make a Declan Gallagher tribute video for Youtube.

I think that's a windup.
Said Dunfermline fan was a bit gutted when I said Jason Scotland to them in January was a done deal.

I don't take anything on that site remotely seriously. Full of very sad individuals with a large chip on their shoulder. Any Livingston fan who uses it for anything other than trolling/amusement purposes really needs to take a good fucking look at themself.

Ps. that's not an insult to anyone on here, I'm sure we'd all agree it's full of sad cases.

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
Hugo Faria has been training with the first team every day this week. Also training is the trialist goalkeeper who played the second half against Stenny. Name sounded a bit like Gould but I could be wrong there
Edit: Gabriel Auriemma has been looking really impressive as well.

Yep, Matthew Gould. I'm surprised he's still hanging around.

Surprised we haven't signed Faria up yet, we're struggling for midfielders going into this game. Can we play trialists in the League cup?

I don't. Although I've been told he's a good athlete, works very hard in training and is the most talented of the younger players. Going on what I've been told by someone I know, but never seen him personally.

If we signed him wouldn't we have to wait for international clearance or doesn't that apply for EU countries? Also once you've signed a player I don't think you can play him as a trialist - what fun?

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
Good job Georgiev's international clearance came through then (or at least I hope it did as we played him), we really struggled for midfielders today, which is rather ironic with us complaining our squad was too big and didn't need all these players this season.

Duckrell's international clearance is through too, must have come just too late for him to play today.

He's been out since the Real Sociedad with hamstring problems I believe

Yeah, that is my understanding too.
So why would we need international clearance for him? (directed at Livilion)

We needed international clearance because he last played in Sweden, unless I'm missing something and talking shite.

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
Ah, presumably the paperwork transferring his registration from the Swedish club to us.
I was thinking you meant the international clearance when you sign a foreign player which wouldn't apply in his case.

That'll have been it then!
