Kenny Anderson wont be signing according to Callum Carson, didnt really need him to be fair, still missing Cole who would slot in his position

Would just keep Cole away from the team thanks very much.Achilles wrote:Kenny Anderson wont be signing according to Callum Carson, didnt really need him to be fair, still missing Cole who would slot in his position
Doing so much better without him.

Good. Don't understand why we signed him when he wasn't considered good enough to replace DJ. So I'm glad he is going to get some game time. Could just get him up to speed if McCallum returns to the Arabs.

Apparently we're going for Craig Thomson.

This is going to bring on a shitstorm from the fans that were going on about us signing Gallagher after his assault conviction.

Livingston are considering a deal for Newtongrange Star midfielder Craig Thomson, according to reports.
The West Lothian club were reportedly linked with an approach for the former Hearts right back

United meant to be signing a new keeper so imagine if that happens we'll keep McCallum till the end of the season.

Callum Carson just tweeted that we're waiting on international clearance from Jacob Esposito from Australia.. can't find much about him online except the fact he used to play for Sydney FC.

Might knock the Thomson signing rumour out of touch then, same position and obv area we've been weak in.
The versatile Esposito, who is described as a direct player that can play at right back and in midfield,

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
Yep the Thomson signing isn't happening.
Been needing a winger so looks like it could be a good signing. Makes you think that Georgiev hasn't worked out, not seen him getting a game for a while now.
Longridge has been improving and getting games too but Millen not so much, possibly have Longridge down the left wing and this new signing Esposito down the right.

I'm told Livingston aren't planning a move for ex-Hearts defender Craig Thomson.

The CT rumour is another in a series of vile media lies. Can now add the Edinburgh Evening News to the list, horrible bastards.

Agree about Georgiev. Understand he hasn't really been given a chance but he's never made an impact when coming on as a sub. We always let go the duff players in January so my money is on Georgiev and Duckrell if he's still injured, just for the sake of spending the budget wisely on players who will make a difference.

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
I'd imagine Spas + Sives could leave in Jan (we're pretty well covered at the back and still got Cole as well mind).
Still fancy seeing what Moses can offer (in the way of football rather than social media)

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
Aye, right enough can picture the headlines from STV and the Daily Record this weekend:
LIVI SIGN CONVICT: WEST LOTHIAN CLUB SIGN GREAT GRANDSON OF MAN DEPORTED FOR SICKENING CRICKET BAT ATTACK
I'm not a betting man, but if I were I'd stick a tidy sum on us having never been interested in Craig Thomson.

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
Our new signing is on hold:
One player who will not be playing, however, is Australian youngster Jacob Esposito.
The 20-year-old had agreed a deal with the club, but the move is on hold until January as he is unable to move outwith the transfer window due to him arriving from a non-EU club.

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
Jacob Esposito interview on Affinity tv, he's been here 3 weeks apparently, signed too, but can't play till his international clearance comes through in Jan. Not a dicky bird on the OS about this either!!
http://www.affinitytv.co.uk/
He's picked a great time to leave Oz, it's their summer, boy must be freezing over here.

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
You can't claim to be a community club and then sign someone who is on the sex offenders register. He could be the white Dani Alves, but it really wouldn't matter a fuck, because he shouldn't be working in a footballing environment IMO.

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
Is that not the same story that was going about before, and the club /Burchill said he'd never spoken to him or knew anything about it?
You never know with Livi right enough but I'm not convinced we're in talks with him or looking to sign another player in that position, that's the same position Jacob Esposito plays too, RB/RM.

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
Looks like the exact same story, how often has a story about us come back up in the news again a week or so later as if it was a new development? Sure it happened earlier in the year with Gallagher too about his case.
Would be disappointed if we do end up signing him but can't see it.

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
Probably a load of media shite, getting their monthly dig in at Livi and using their own recycled patter from last month.
Livingston, a club with a large percentage of young supporters who focus heavily on children in the area through the LYF, would not be stupid enough to employ a convicted paedophile. It just can't happen - Burchill and the board or whoever make these decisions would not be stupid enough to sign a beast when they know the tradition of youth this club has always held since day 1.
I'm not paranoid, the media in this country are fucking vile. We didn't go into administration last season, we haven't sold Almondvale to Tesco so the media are at another bam-up. Fuck them.
