That'll be Danny Mullen coming back to haunt us again, as he dives about the pitch, and knocks in the odd 25 yarder. Happy for Byrne to be back playing top flight football though, and Capt McPake winning promotion as their manager.

Re: Other Premiership Games
Looks like it's relegation time for Killie, 2-0 down at HT, 4-1 agg, and looking a complete shambles in defence. If anything Dundee are going to score more goals.

Wonder if we could tempt Lafferty to sign for us next season now.

I'm not so sure. And in any case, doubt we could afford his wages Certainly wouldn't break the bank to get him.Probably better options out there imo.

Doubt we'd do that, who are the better options out there?
8 goals in 9 games in a shite team in the top flight, not seeing anyone better outside the erse cheeks, and even then, they had 30 odd games and some only scored 4 or 5 goals more than him.
His goals to games ratio is far better than golden boy Kevin Nisbet's too. Goals per 90 mins is .98, obv would drop over 30+ games, but that's pretty impressive, esp in a team that got relegated, feeding of scraps.
Can't see us signing him, but if we did it would be a real coup.

Yeh,agree L/F.It would be a Coup for us.Just get the feeling he'll go elsewhere.Davie has already intimated he'll be scouring the country for potential signings.Hopefully he finds one or two gems out there.Theres hundreds of players out of contract out there and I see no reason why we wouldn't be a decent proposition to them just because we are a so called diddy club..

Re: Other Premiership Games
Man City are so quick, but Chelsea have some fantastic defensive players, the amount of times they've either nudged them off the ball or put in perfect tackles to stop City scoring, and have had a few good attacks themselves too.
Wasn't too bothered who wins but pundits all tipping/wanting City to win has edged me supporting Chelsea. Billy Gilmour on the bench too, so am going for a team with a Scottish player too.

Cracking goal Tbf L/F.Chelsea are bossing this.Surprisingly.Would expect City to come out 2nd half all guns blazing. But Chelsea deserve that.

Re: Other Premiership Games
Two faced pundits saying that's what Pep gets having so many attacking players, needed a defensive midfielder to stop that pass by Chelsea, feckers were lax lyrical about how great City were with their attacking set up, bunch of arseholes.
Aguero must be bursting to get on though, Sterling has done nothing, can't see Pep keeping him on much longer (Sterling to come out and score a goal).

Yeh,Pep seems to have an arrogance about him. They are a terrific team.Thought the first goal would be crucial here.Expecting a response from City. But the Blues are in the driving seat. A 2nd would kill this imo.

It's like the Scottish cup final where Hibs were going to stroll it against us in 2004, and St Johnstone this season, despite having lost twice already in previous meetings. Chelsea have the beating of them this season, already done it twice.

Two subs and Aguero still sitting on the bench, it's as if Pep is keeping Sterling on to justify starting him, and not wanting to admit he got it wrong. Case of cutting his nose off to spite his face.
James has had Sterling in his back pocket all game.

Re: Other Premiership Games
Thought City had scored there, just went over the bar when the keeper was rooted to the spot, wouldn't have deserved it though, Chelsea have defended brilliantly and had a lot more chances too. Well deserved win for them.

Re: Other Premiership Games
I wanted City to win for Aguero but Chelsea deserved it. They defended for their lives & were dangerous in attack, if Werner could finish they would have been free & clear before half time.
Heard City fans on Talk Sport after the game & they were pretty magnanimous in defeat & surprised by Pep’s starting line up.... they couldn’t believe he started without any defensive midfielders & just as perplexed that Sterling did start because he’s had such a poor season.
Ederson made a mess of it for the goal too, he’s been excellent all season but he wasn’t quick enough reacting to the through ball & should have stayed in his box before confronting Havertz.
Apart from that City just didn’t do enough up front. They couple of chances they had were Sterling miscontrolling Ederson’s long ball & Foden being tackled superbly by Rüdiger just as he was about to shoot. Apart from those I really don’t remember them threatening to score... Mahrez’s effort near the end.
I don’t think it’s arrogance on Pep’s part, just a strong belief that playing the possession game wins you more than you lose & it has served him well. Last night he didn’t get the balance right & picked the wrong team. They tried but it didn’t work out, sometimes that’s football. Chelsea certainly seem to know how to play against them.

Re: Other Premiership Games
Celtic losing away to Hearts last week, Sevco losing away to Utd this week, the erse cheeks aren't so good away from home and we can get points off both at the TMA.
Utd hunted them all over the pitch, and they didn't like it, that's how we usually play, and need to get doing it again this season.
