Personally I'd be far more worried if it was announced that the Jacobs boys were leaving. Incidentally Keaghan can't be far behind Talbot's total can he - he's been pretty much ever present for about five years now hasn't he?

Probably the best move for both parties; he leaves with my best wishes.

Heard Keaghan is wanting to play in SA, can't see either Jacobs being here this season.

Loved the "REAKIN NEWS" on the front page
Personally I didn't think it was that bad.

I'm sure there was a positive "meting" headline earlier as well. Could do with a spell checker.

The SFA will be hitting us with an announcement embargo if we dinny start spelling things correctly.

Notice there's now a statement from Burchill on the OS. Notice he also describes Ford as a majority shareholder; surely to be a majority shareholder you'd need to own 50%+?
Still with less that a week to go before the start of pre season training I'll forgive him that one...

For the record, any names I mention on Pie and Bovril are purely to wind up the seething fans of other teams, I'm not at all in the know.
e.g. Eremenko

Looking forward to seeing Pittman from the start of the season, looks a skilful player in the attacking midfield role. think I would near pee my pants with excitement if Keags & Hippo stay another season too.
We'd have a decent core to our team with Cole either playing midfield or as a CB, along with Mullen, White and DJ signed up.
Anyone heard anything more about Gallagher being sentenced?

The above suggests Keaghan as a likely stayer.

Suspected we'd keep Sives now Foredyce is away.

I'll take those four for starters. Get Keaghan, Kyle and Hippo signed up too and we'll slowly make progress.

Think Keaghan is still in South Africa but am pretty sure his brother is back (Kyle).

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
I'm happy about Cole and Mullen as was said previously. Both (particularly Mullen) are top players at this level.
Sives was good at the end of last season but needs to be more consistent if he's to be a good signing. Glen really has to get more game time, if it's to be worth him staying. Has the ability, I've no doubt of that.
Agree with the shouts for Hippo and Keaghan to hopefully re-sign.

Gallagher been jailed for 3 years, don't think he'll be signing then...

Just saw that http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/news/crime/footballer-jailed-for-brutal-baseball-bat-attack-1-3804715
Even on appeal its unlikely he'll get less than 6 months (more likely a year) before parole.

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
Thought Glen was going to Raith or did I just imagine that, glad he's signed for us anyway. He's got ability but didn't show it enough last season, much like Hippo in that respect so maybe just needs a run of games and settled in on the position that best suits him.
I like Cole he's confident on the ball, cuts it close sometimes though so prefer him in midfield where losing the ball isn't quite as dangerous but unless we sign another CB it looks like him and Sives will be playing there.
Difficult to say with Sives, another I wasn't bothered if he left but as with everyone else in our team he really stepped up his game to keep us up, so hopefully he shows that kind of form more often.
Danny is still pretty young in his development, really believe he'll be a lot better this season as last season was a baptism of fire for him, was prob a season too soon for him but he scored a decent amount of goals and you could see him getting better as the season went.

Re: Transfer Rumours, Players In/Out
I was also sure I'd read that Gary was off to Raith - maybe it was another P&B wind-up.
Still think Danny is a bit light-weight and gets pushed off the ball easily but I tend to forget how young he is - it seems like he's been around the team forever. At the moment he can only get better.

Shaun Rutherford has signed for QOS. I never rated him.
Also very sorry to hear the news about Declan Gallagher, hopefully we see him playing for Livi again sooner rather than later.

Hopefully we re-sign Declan when he's out of jail. Especially considering Burchill said he'd stand by him.
